Jackpot Stud Poker

The object of this Jackpot Stud Poker game is to obtain the best five-card hand. Both the Player and the Dealer will receive five cards each. The Player's cards will all be in the face up position as opposed to only one of the Dealer's cards. Side bets can be made to the progressive jackpot but this is optional.

Placing a bet

Wagers must be placed before cards are handed out. The account settings will determine what your minimum/maximum bet limits will be. However they can be modified either by the Min/Max level on the game console or by accessing the Options section on the toolbar.

Wagers are made by selecting ac chip value and clicking on it. Chip values are located at the bottom of the playing field. After doing so click on the bet marker "Ante" which is on the playing table. You can bet one any one to a maximum of three hand positions.

Side bet - progressive jackpot

If you desire you may wager on the progressive jackpot by selecting the coin slot. The coin slot is located directly above the Ante bet marker. Each wager will cost one US dollar despite of the denomination of currency you currently utilize.

Starting the game

When you completed the betting process you will need to click on the DEAL button to receive your cards. Both the Player and Dealer will receive five cards. Your cards will be all face up and only one of the Dealer's cards.

Raise or Fold

After you receive your cards you must evaluate your hand and choose to either raise the wager or fold which will result in the game ending and the Ante wager being lost. On the other hand if you raise, then a wager exactly twice your Ante wager will immediately be placed. At this point the Dealer will reveal his hand and all cards will be judged. In order to win this new wager you will need to have the better of the two poker hands.
